"Over 160 days in the shelter and I'm ready to strut my stuff in my own house!  My catery room has lots of nice toys and a great tower but I would love a BIG house to explore. My name is Jaylen and I am a handsome 1-year-old male tabby cat. Staff says I am super confident and love attention and pets but if I get over stimulated I might let you know with a little nip. In other words it is good to pay attention to my body language. There are many, many great cats and dogs up here and we would love for our forever families to find us soon."

Upcoming Community Events Send events to: news@linkinglewiscounty.com April 16^th: Stone Soup drive through Dinner at Croghan Mennonite Church on the Kirschnerville Rd will be held on Thursday, April 16th starting at 4 p.m.  We will be serving Smothered Chicken,  Buttered Noodles, Veggies, Rolls and dessert. All are welcome. April 16^th: April 17^th: April 18^th: Square Dance on Saturday 4/18 from 7-10 PM at the 3-G Fire Hall in Glenfield.  Live music by Johnny Burlap and the Sacks, hosted by the Lewis County Holstein Club. Dancers of all ages and experience levels are welcome!  The caller will tell you what to do! Admission is $5 for the general public and $2 for Holstein club members.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.  There will also be raffle baskets, 50/50 raffle and a bake sale hosted by the junior Holstein club.
