Nora B. Martin
 CROGHAN- Nora B. Martin, born May 1, 1937
in County Clare, Ireland, passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 88 in
Lady Lake Florida.
Nora is survived by her five children, Patricia Gagnon and her husband Raul
of Lady, Lake, Florida; Mary Jane George and partner Jim Daniel of Warner
Robins, Georgia; Christine Herzig of Lady, Lake, Florida, and partner Dan
Knight; Lou Ann, Amato and husband Robert of Raleigh, North Carolina;
Eileen Wargo and husband John of Akron, New York; 11 grandchildren; 14
great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
Nora was employed for 24 years between Lewis County General Hospital and
Carthage Area Hospital. Nora spent a long career primarily in caring for
the elderly with much love and compassion.
She was a devout Catholic with deep devotion for her Catholic faith.
A funeral Mass will
be held at Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan at 11:00 a.m. on Friday
June 19, 2026, with her burial to follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contribuitions
may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O. Box 266, Lowville, NY
13367. Arrangements are with Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville.
