State Police seeking public assistance with
snowmobile larceny

The New York
State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying those
responsible for a stolen snowmobile that was reported missing in the town
of Greig, Lewis County.
On March 1, 2026, State Police in Lowville, NY, received a report of a
stolen snowmobile from the Steam Mill Road Trail (S78) in the Brantingham
area. The complainant stated that the snowmobile became disabled and was
left on the trail during the afternoon hours of February 28, 2026. When the
owner returned to retrieve the snowmobile on March 1, 2026, it was
discovered to be missing.
The stolen snowmobile is described as a 2016 Arctic Cat ZR 4000 RR, green
in color with blue and white trim stickers. It has black skis and a black
and green seat, along with multiple racing brand stickers on the front hood
and side panels.
