LEWIS COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY FEATURED PET OF THE WEEK

New pet featured each Wednesday!

OCTOBER 23, 2024: TENNYSON

A cat sitting on a window sill

Description automatically generated"My name is Tennyson and as you can see, I am quite a handsome fella. I have been here at the shelter for 321days - almost a whole year! I love to rub up against you and you can pet me for a few minutes but then I've had enough. Dogs aren't my thing and I am cat selective. Older children are better for me since they understand boundaries. Guess I am a little fussy! I love watching the birds from the window in my room at the shelter and wet food really makes my day. I would make a WONDERFUL pet for someone who accepts me as I am!"

Check out pictures of all the cats, kittens, dogs and puppies at the shelter ready for adoption on our new Facebook page Lewis County Humane Society NY 501c3. Application forms and information can be found at lewiscountyhumanesociety.org/adopt

The Lewis County Humane Society,  6388 Pine Grove Road, Glenfield, is open 2-6 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and on Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Reach us by phone at 315-376-8349 or on our new Facebook page at Lewis County Humane Society NY 501c3. Donations can be mailed to: LCHS, PO Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367. Thank you for your kindness and support.
