LOWVILLE - William F. “Bill”
Irvin, Jr., 66, of Shady Avenue,
was stricken Thursday evening and later passed away on October 3, 2024
at his home in Lowville.
Bill was born March 6, 1958
in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late William F. Sr.
and Rose (Esposito) Irvin of Boonville. He was a graduate of Adirondack High School in Boonville in
1977.
He married
Shelvie M. Barker on June
12, 1982 at the Village Park
in Lowville. He was a maintenance man for Lewis County Industries from
1978-1995. For over twenty years he worked at the Countryside Veterinary
Clinic and most recently was working at Kraft-Heinz in Lowville.
He is survived by
his wife, Shelvie M. (Barker) Irvin of Lowville, his mother, Rose; two
sisters, Rose Thomas; Michelle Irvin; three brothers, Edward Irvin of
Boonville; James Irvin; and Patrick Irvin; and several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Bill is predeceased
by his father, William, and his brother, Shawn Irvin.
He enjoyed
playing pool, video games and loved his dogs.
Burial will be in
New Bremen Rural Cemetery.
