Lewis County Fair Returns for 205th Edition July 21st

Lowville, NY- The annual Lewis
County Fair is set to open its 205th edition on Tuesday, July 21, 2026,
continuing through Saturday, July 25th at the fairgrounds on Bostwick
Street. The fair features free gate admission all week and free
entertainment acts throughout the week. This year’s theme is “As American
as the Lewis County Fair”. Parking is available at the fairgrounds for $5
per day or $15 for the full week pass. Shuttles are also available, with more

Activities
kickoff on Tuesday, with a 4H/FFA English Horse Show at 9 AM. The Opening
Ceremony is scheduled for 10 AM at the front gate, followed by the Welcome
Reception and Cheese Auction at 10:30 AM in
the Cattle Show Ring in the Dairy Industry Building. The Coleman Brothers
Midway opens at 4 PM, with the annual parade scheduled to start at 6:30 PM
downtown and the fireworks show at 10 PM.
Wednesday is Children’s
Day and Dairy Day. The midway opens at 1 PM, with Sensory Carnival (no
lights/music) hours from 1 to 3 PM. Grandstand shows include a free Graden
Tractor show at 10 AM and the NYS Truck & Tractor Pull is scheduled for
7 PM (admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children).
Thursday is
Healthy Aging Day, with activities for seniors starting at 8:55 AM. The midway opens at 3 PM. Grandstand shows include a
free Out of Field Tractor Pull at 9 AM and the featured 4 X 4 Tractor Pull
at 7 PM (admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children.
Friday is
Children’s Day. The midway opens at 2 PM. The
featured grandstand event will be the Rodeo at 7 PM (admission is $20 for adults
and $15 for children).
Saturday is
family day. The midway opens at 2 PM. Demolition Derbies are scheduled for
1 PM and 6 PM in the grandstand. Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for
children and covers both shows.
