Lowville, NY- The Village of Lowville has lifted the Conserve Water Watch this morning, reporting that the 20-foot reserve tank, with a 3-million-gallon capacity, is now full.

Residents and businesses were first placed under a Conserve Water Watch on August 23 after an error at one of the largest manufactures in the village resulted in a large draw from the reserve tank, taking it below acceptable levels.

The watch was upgraded to a Water Emergency on August 27, when reserve levels dropped below the 9-foot mark. As levels started to improve, the Water Emergency was lifted on September 14 and replaced with a Conserve Water Watch. As of this morning that has been lifted as well and there are currently no restrictions in place.
