Lowville, NY- As of 12 p.m. today (June 17, 2021) the Water Watch for the village of Lowville water system has been removed. Water reserves are back to an acceptable level, according to DPW Superintendent Paul Denise. The watch had been in place since June 12, when levels in the 20-foot reserve tank dropped to around 12 feet. Residents are encouraged to remain conscious of their water usage in an effort to prevent future issues.
