4th day with no sign of the missing man. The family will be organizing search efforts again Sunday morning as local agencies have scaled back on their search. Valerie McCall, Kenny's mother, is asking volunteers to meet at the Tidd Road/Route 812 intersection in the Town of Diana at 9 AM Sunday morning. Mr. McCall was last seen around 4 AM on Tuesday, June 13th, and is thought to have travelled west on the Tidd Road. Emergency agencies performed a grid search of the area Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The family is asking for additional volunteers to help with the search tomorrow, especially anyone with special training. The area is very remote with treacherous, swampy conditions and lots of bugs and mosquitos, Mrs. McCall said. Any volunteers are asked to wear pants, boots and other appropriate gear. Anyone wishing to donate supplies, bug spray and ice are needed at this point, Mrs. McCall told us this evening. She thinks they are all set with water for now. "The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who have put in countless hours volunteering and those who've made donations thus far," expressed Mrs. McCall. "This is every parents worst nightmare and it's so nice that the community has been so supportive." "We also want to encourage anyone who may have seen him walking after 2 AM on the 13th to call the Lewis County Sheriff's Office at 315-376-3511 to give a report," Mrs. McCall said. "Someone may have even given him a ride or let him use their phone," she continued. Mr. McCall was wearing only a pair of black shorts, with no shirt or shoes, his mother said. He was wearing a baseball cap and carrying a blue gym bag. She said that his phone had gotten damaged earlier when swimming in the river. "He may be trying to get back to Lowville or Cortland, or could be hurt and dehydrated somewhere," Mrs. McCall said. "We are just baffled right now."
