    Lowville, NY- A Lowville man pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree
    Burglary, a class "D" felony,  in Lewis County Court this morning with the
    Honorable Daniel R. King presiding. Randy W. Harten Jr., 24, will be
    sentenced as a second-felony offender on June 23rd. He was accused of
    entering the Lowville Redemption Center on December 9, 2016 and stealing
    cash and other items.

    Also in Lewis County Court this morning, Taylor R. Wiley, 25, of Castorland,
    was sentenced to serve a six-month term in Lewis County Jail with a
    concurrent five-year probation term on an amended charge of second-degree
    Attempted Burglary, a class "D" felony, to which he entered a guilty plea on
    March 24th. He was additionally ordered to pay $375 in court fees and an
    order of protection was issued on the victim's behalf for an eight-year period. A
    restitution hearing will take place at a later date. Mr. Wiley was accused of
    entering a dwelling in the Town of New Bremen on November 9, 2016 and
    stealing items.
