Transfer Stations to be Closed on Saturday, July 4th

Lowville/Croghan

With the July 4th holiday falling on a Saturday this year,

most town and county offices are already closed for the day because of the

weekend.

The Lewis County Solid Waste Department would like to let the public know that

both the Lowville Transfer Station, at 7952 State Route 26, and the Croghan

Transfer Station, at 10319 State Route 812, will be closed on Saturday, July 4th.

The Lowville location will be open for regular hours on Friday, July 3rd, from

7 AM until 3 PM. The Croghan site will be open it's normal Tuesday hours of

7:30 AM until 3 PM on both Tuesday, June 30th and Tuesday, July 7th. Both

sites will be open for regular hours on Saturday, July 11th.
