Lowville- Here is a schedule of grandstand events taking place at the 195th Annual Lewis County Fair, beginning Tuesday.
12:30 pm – New York SIRE Stakes Harness Racing, Music by Nighthawk’s DJ between Races, Free Grandstand 7:00 pm - Lewis County Fair Parade, Free Grandstand 10:30 pm - Hugh Fireworks Display, Free Grandstand Wednesday, July 22 9:00 am—Out of the Field Tractor Pull, Free Grandstand 7:00 pm – Truck Pull 4X4, $12 Adults, $8 Child (8-12), $8 Grandstand Thursday, July 23 11:00 am – Garden Tractor Pulls, Free Grandstand 7:00 pm - New York State Truck & Tractor Pull, $15 Adults, $10 Child (8-12), Grandstand Friday, July 24 7:00 pm – The Patti Stanford Band. Patti, Country & Western singer, is a local legend that has performed in Nashville. She has written several songs and a it is a delight to hear her sing. 8:00 pm - Canaan Smith is a country storytelling music singer and songwriter. A few of the songs he is noted for and sings are: "We Got Us" and the current number one song on the country charts, "Love You Like That". He also wrote “Stuck” which was released last month on the album BRONCO. Trackside $25 Grandstand $20 Saturday, July 25 1:00 pm –Demolition Derby* 6:00 pm - Demolition Derby* *admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children and includes both shows. Thanks to the many sponsors, general admission to the fair is at no cost. All tickets are available now for the Friday night show by calling Countryside Veterinary Clinic at (315) 376-6563 and asking for Donna, and at the Lewis County Fair Office during the Fair. Tickets for the concert can also be purchased online at www.lewiscountyfair.org Grandstand tickets for all other events go on sale at the gate before the events. If you desire to park on fair grounds the weekly cost is only $15 and the daily rate is $5.00. Free Acts Daily on the Fairgrounds: 4-H and FFA exhibits, animal competition shows and other events daily, Commercial Exhibits, Entertainment shows in the LeRoy Nichols Building, Coleman Bros.
