    Town of Western- The New York State Police arrested a Boonville man last
    Wednesday afternoon after a traffic stop in the Town of Western, police released
    today.

    Alexander J. Hughes, 20, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a class "U"
    misdemeanor; Operating an Unregistered Vehicle, an infraction; Moving From
    Lane Unsafely, an infraction; and Speed Violation- Imprudent Speed, an
    infraction. He was released to a third party and issued tickets to appear in the
    Town of Western court at a later date.

    State Police did not provide a BAC level. Under state law, a BAC of 0.08 percent
    or more is considered proof of intoxication.
