Three Arrested After Fair Altercation Sends Their Co-worker to Hospital

    Lowville- The Lowville Village Police arrested three men at the Lewis County
    Fair yesterday after a report of a physical altercation and a man laying on the
    ground.

    Jose Alvarez, 20, of New Haven, CT. Johnny Rodriguez, 28, of Harford, CT and
    John Wheller, 55, of Fort Pierce, FL were each charged with second degree
    Harassment after investigation of the incident. The victim, a co-worker, was
    transported to Lewis County General Hospital by Lewis County Search and
    Rescue to be checked out, and was released a short time later.

    Mr. Alvarez, Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Wheeler were each issued an apperance
    ticket to return to Village of Lowville court at a later date.

    Village Police were assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff's Department and Lewis
    County Search and Rescue at the scene.
