Lowville- The Lowville Village Police Department arrested William Stevens, 43, of Lowville on Thursday. Mr Stevens was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest, after multiple reports from the public were received of him being intoxicated, with the last incident being that he was laying on the sidewalk on Water Street in the Village of Lowville. When officers attempted to put Mr. Stevens under arrest and transport him, he is accused of fighting with police. Mr. Stevens was remanded to the Lewis County jail with no bail. |
