Lewis County Public Transportation Offers Daily Bus Run to Old Forge

Lewis County Public Transportation will begin a seasonal daily

bus run to Old Forge beginning on Wednesday, June 17, coinciding with the

opening of Enchanted Forest Water Safari for the season. The fee for the ride

is just $1 each way and is available to anyone wishing to use the service. It

offers a great opportunity for high school and college students to work in Old

Forge for the summer.

The route starts in Croghan with a 7:15 AM pickup at Shultz's, and continues

on with stops in Lowville(7:40), Glenfied(7:55), Lyons Falls(8:10), Port Leyden

(8:20), Boonville(8:35) and Woodgate(8:50), arriving at Water Safari at 9:15

AM. The bus makes a return trip home leaving Old Forge 30 minutes after the

water park closes. This route is available June 17 through June 26 and again

July 27 through September 7. You can see the
