Port Leyden- Deputies from the Lewis County Sheriff's Department arrested a
    Port Leyden woman after an investigation into an Order of Protection violation.

    Michelle I. Defoe, 41, was charged with two counts of second degree Criminal
    Contempt, a class "A" misdemeanor, after deputies say she made contact with
    two juveniles on two separate occasions, who were listed as protected parties
    against her.

    Ms. Dafoe was processed at the Lewis County Sheriff's Office and was issued
    tickets to appear in Village of Port Leyden Court at a later date.
