    Town of West Turin-  Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of
    a property damage accident on State Route 26 just after 1:00 on Thursday
    afternoon.

    Deputies said David A. Mehl, of Boonville, was travelling southbound when he
    lost control of his vehicle,crossing over the center line and exiting the roadway off
    the east shoulder,where the vehicle came to rest on its drivers side, just south of
    the Payne Road intersection.

    No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Mr. Mehl was issued a
    ticket for Failure to Keep Right, to be answered in the Town of West Turin Court
    at a later date.

    Assisting at the scene were Port Leyden Ambulance, Turin Fire Department, and
    Unlimited Towing.
