Black River Man Arrested After Disturbance at Mudfest

    Town of Turin-  The Lewis County Sheriff's Department arrested a Black River
    man on Saturday night, after a disturbance reported by security personal at
    Mudfest in the Town of Turin.

    Colby P. Dimmitt, 23, was pepper sprayed and detained by the Mudfest security
    after allegedly throwing beer cans and displaying a box cutter in a threatening
    manner at them. Mr. Dimmitt was charged with second degree Harassment and
    second degree Menacing, a class "A" misdemeanor. He was arraigned in Town
    of Turin court, and released to appear at a later date.

    Deputies were assisted at the scene by the New York State Police.
