Copenhagen- A fire last evening destroyed a barn and its contents located at 2213 County Route 194, Copenhagen NY. The barn, owned by Tom Carroll, was insured. The fire was reported at 05:45 PM by Rita Carroll.
Carthage, Castorland, Rutland, Rodman and Natural Bridge. Lewis County Search and Rescue, Copenhagen Fire Auxiliary, National Grid, and the Town of Denmark also assisted at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
