Deputies Charge Osceola Man With Sexual Abuse

The Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Robert

Maxfield, 42, of Osceola, on Sunday evening. Mr. Maxfield is accused of

subjecting a female less than seventeen years old to sexual contact during the

month of April 2015 in the Town of Osceola. He was charged with Sexual

Abuse in the first degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Unlawfully

Dealing With a Child in the first degree. Mr. Maxfield was arraigned in the

Town of Osceola court and remanded to the Lewis County Jail, pending further

court proceedings.
