Controlling Invasive Woody
Plants Workshop. Hosted by SLELO
PRISM on Tuesday, April 23rd
10:30am-2:30pm at Whetstone Gulf State
Park Beach House, located at 6065 W Rd,
Lowville, NY 13367. This event is free &
open to the public. Contact, 315 387 3600
x7724 to register. Participants will learn
how to control Japanese knotweed,
invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle, in
addition to growing native alternatives to
these invasive plants. There will be an
opportunity to help strengthen early
detection efforts for invasive species that
threaten Tug Hill and our region.
