| 5th Annual Fishing Derby on the Black River to Benefit Wounded Warriors 06/28/15 12:55am |
Glenfield- The Mud Puppy Bait Shop, located at 6732 Pine Grove Road,in Glenfield, will be hosting the 5th Annual Benefit Fishing Derby on the Black River on Saturday, July 25th. This year the derby will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
day. Food and drinks will be available at the event,with a chicken barbeque being held. Dinners will be on sale for $8 and halves available for $5. Some of the warriors who have benefited from the Wounded Warrior project will be on hand all day. Entertainment by Capo 3 will be provided from around 11 AM until 3 PM. There will also be a Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle.
boundaries will be on the Black River, from Lyons Falls to Carthage. Registration is required before heading out on the water. You may begin registering July 1st, at the shop, and registration fees will be $15 for adults and $5 for children under fifteen.
award first, second and third place prizes for each species of fish brought in, except for carp. Weigh-ins will be at the Mud Puppy Bait Shop. All New York State fishing regulations apply.
