TOWN OF GREIG
Notice is hereby
given that the Town Board of the Town of Greig will hold two public
hearings prior to
the next regular
Town Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM at
the
Greig Town Hall,
5186 Greig Rd.
AGENDA OF PUBLIC
HEARINGS
• Public Hearing #1: A Moratorium
on Permits applying for the Creation of a Large Data Center
or Creation of a Nuclear Power Plant. (Note:
This Moratorium was passed by the Town Board
at a prior meeting;
this version incorporates comments from the Lewis County Planning
Board.)
• Public Hearing #2: A local law
allowing the Town to exceed the State-calculated Tax Cap of
2%, if necessary, to establish the 2027
Greig Town Budget.
The regular
October Town Board Meeting will convene
immediately following the conclusion of the
Public Hearings.
