AI-generated content may be incorrect.LOWVILLE- Catherine “Cathy” Lee, 66, of Baker Road, Lowville, passed away on Saturday evening October 3, 2026 at the Lewis County General Hospital, surrounded by her family.

 

Cathy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Scott; their children, Jennifer and Ram Vuppari of Medford, MA, and Bethany Lee and her two children, Jacob and Abygale, of Castorland; her siblings, Judy and Thomas Rookey of Sackets Harbor; Joyce and Steven Feigeles of Westampton, NJ; her father-in-law, Donald Lee of Croghan, and the Lee family; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by her mother-in-law, Ann Lee and her maternal grandmother, Marie Conway. 

 

Cathy was born on July 26, 1960 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Raymond L. and Mary Conway Mathis.  She graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1978 and Utica School of Commerce.  On June 14, 1986, she married Scott Lee at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Constableville.  Cathy worked for Lewis County for more than 30 years in various capacities, including many years at Lewis County Mental Health and at Lewis County General Hospital, retiring in 2015.

 

Cathy was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, and spent many years as a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Constableville. 

 

Cathy loved boating, traveling, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A private funeral service will be held at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Joseph Morgan, Pastor of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Bremen.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Lewis County Hospital Foundation, 7785 N. State Street, Lowville, NY 13367, Please put in memo: Comfort Care/Hospice Room.
