Lowville American Legion to Host Semi-Annual Benefits
and Support Event for Veterans September 25th and 26th

Operation Support our Veterans
The Lowville American Legion will host their
semi-annual Veterans’ benefits and support event
Lowville, NY- The Lowville
American Legion will host a Veterans Open House on Friday and Saturday,
September 25-26, from 10 am – 2 pm on Friday, and 10-1 on Saturday.
If you have never
applied for VA benefits or wish to try to increase what you have, this is
your chance.
VA
representatives from Jefferson and Lewis County, Watertown Vet Center,
Joseph Dwyer Vet Peer Center, and more will be on hand. If you have
an organization that works with Veterans, please contact us for possible
involvement (all agencies are vetted).
The VA
representatives will focus on enrolling eligible Veterans and increasing
benefits. The Vet Center and Dwyer Center work primarily on
counseling services available for PTSD, depression, the transition from the
military, and numerous other counseling programs.
Please visit our
Military Museum while you're there. The public is invited.
