Lowville, NY- The Lewis County
Memorial VFW Post 6912, located on West State Street in Lowville, will be
holding a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11th to commemorate the
25th Anniversary of this tragic event. The ceremony will commence at 8:30
AM, and with weather permitting, will be held outdoors at the VFW Memorial
Wall.
First responders
from all of Lewis County, to include fire, rescue and law enforcement, are
expected to attend the service so that we may honor them all for their
service to our communities.
Recently retired
NYS Trooper Mike Fayle will be the guest speaker. Trooper Fayle deployed to
Manhattan on the evening of September 11, 2001.
Refreshments will
be served following the service. The public is welcome and encouraged to
attend.
