Cornell Cooperative Extension Lewis County’s Fall
Harvest Day and Annual Meeting
 Lowville, NY – CCE Lewis will
hold a Fall Harvest Day full of fun events and workshops for both adults
and children on Saturday, October 3, 2026, starting at 9:00 am at the new
Cooperative Extension Office located at 7241 East Road Lowville NY 13367.
Only one meeting will be held that day and it’s the Annual Business Meeting
from 9 am to 10 am covering elections and the annual business of the
Association. The new office will be open for tours to the public all day
from 9am to 4pm.
The Rolling Rebel
Café food truck will be on site in the morning offering a variety of
drinks available for purchase, so attendees can arrive early to grab coffee
before the meeting begins. Visitors can continue to enjoy their beverages
while participating in the Scarecrow Building Contest starting at 10:30 AM,
where basic materials will be provided and participants bring
the finishing touches! We will be offering Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Painting,
Beaded Corn and Pumpkin Tic-Tac- Toe. Also, two Adult
classes are being offered along with a Fall Photo Op Area for some lovely
fall photos.
Squishy’s BBQ and Catering food truck will be joining
us for lunch providing a great opportunity for you to enjoy your purchased BBQ
as your child makes a Corn Husk Doll or you pursue the Silent Basket
Auction. Other activities and events will be held throughout the day.
Winners and prizes to be announced at 3pm that day.
