PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN OF WEST TURIN, LEWIS COUNTY, NEW
YORK
The Town of West
Turin is looking to fill a vacancy on the Board of Assessment Review
(BAR). Requirements: Must be a
resident of the Town of West Turin, 3 hours of training before you can sit
on the Board and also the same 3-hour training
upon reappointment. The BAR meets at
least once a year on grievance day (4 hours) and a maximum of 2 additional
times for any tax assessment roll corrections the tax assessor needs. Some knowledge of real property values is
helpful, but not required. If interested, please contact the Town
