OB/GYN Chief of Service Welcomes New Women’s Health Staff
LOWVILLE, NY - LCHS Obstetrics
and Gynecology Chief of Service, Georges Akl, M.D., is pleased to announce
two key additions to the Women’s Health Service leadership and clinical
care teams: Samantha Deshaies as Clinic Office Manager and Anastasia
Melnyk, FNP, as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s health.
"We are
thrilled to welcome Samantha and Anastasia to our OB/GYN family," said
Dr. Georges Akl, Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her role as
Clinic Office Manager, Samantha Deshaies will oversee the day-to-day
administrative operations, patient scheduling systems, and staff workflows
for the OB/GYN outpatient clinic. Deshaies has worked in billing and coding
management since 2007 and has seven years of experience in the medical
field.
Joining the
clinical team, Anastasia Melnyk, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse
Practitioner. Melnyk specializes in comprehensive gynecological care,
prenatal and postpartum support, preventive health screenings, and family
planning. Her clinical approach emphasizes patient education and shared
decision-making, aligning seamlessly with the hospital’s patient-centered
mission.
