AI-generated content may be incorrect. The Town of Osceola is inviting residents, property owners, and community partners to participate in shaping the Town’s updated Comprehensive Plan. Guided by the theme “Keep it Wild | Grow it Smart | Keep it Osceola,” the Plan will help chart a thoughtful, community-driven vision for Osceola’s future. The Town of Osceola is working with the Lewis County Planning and Community Development Department to update the Town’s Comprehensive Plan in anticipation of developmental pressures from Micron and Chobani expansions in the neighboring counties.

To gather input from as many voices as possible, the Town has launched an online community survey available now through August 31, 2026. Participants can access the survey at: https://arcg.is/WnKTG. The survey takes only a few minutes and provides residents and stakeholders with the opportunity to share their priorities, concerns, and ideas for Osceola’s long-term growth and preservation.

Property owners within the Town will also receive a hard copy of the survey by mail. This survey can be completed and returned to Lewis County Planning using the self-addressed stamped envelope provided with the mailing.

In addition to the survey, the Town of Osceola will host an in-person Public Visioning Session to gather further community input. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Public Visioning Session

Date: September 8, 2026

Time: 5:00 PM

Location: Osceola Town Hall, 1426 Osceola Road, Camden, NY 13316

The Visioning Session will provide an opportunity for residents, landowners, business owners, and other community stakeholders to discuss ideas directly with Town representatives and planners. The Town encourages broad participation to ensure the Comprehensive Plan reflects the community’s shared goals and values.

For questions about the survey, the planning process, or the public session, residents may contact the Town of Osceola or Megan Krokowski at the Lewis County Planning and Community Development Department.
