Relationship Center Briefly Closed Today After Attempted ATM Theft
Croghan, NY — Northern Credit
Union is working closely with local law enforcement following an attempted
theft and vandalism incident involving the exterior ATM located at our
Croghan Relationship Center. The incident occurred during non-business
hours and resulted in damage to the exterior ATM. No internal-owner
employees or member-owners were present at the time of the incident, and no
injuries were reported. Upon discovery of the damage, the exterior ATM was
immediately taken out of service and appropriate security actions were
taken.
Our Croghan
Relationship Center was briefly closed today, July 27, 2026.
"The safety
and security of our member-owners, internal-owner employees, and facilities
remain our highest priority," said Dan St. Hilaire, "We are
grateful for the swift response of law enforcement and are taking all
necessary steps to restore services as quickly as possible."
Anyone with
information related to this incident is encouraged to contact local law
enforcement.

there is no indication that member account information has been
