Lewis County
Health System Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon Greg S. Keller, MD, FABOS
LOWVILLE, NY─ Lewis County
Health System (LCHS) and Lewis County Orthopedics announce that Greg S.
Keller, MD, FABOS, has joined the medical staff. He brings more
than 26 years of experience and specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery,
sports medicine, arthroscopy, knee reconstruction, and upper- and
lower-extremity trauma.
"We are
thrilled to welcome Dr. Keller to Lewis County," stated Sean Harney,
Chief Medical Officer of Employed Practices at Lewis County Health
System. " Dr. Keller’s
knowledge in orthopedics, along with his surgical
skills and experience, will be an asset to our orthopedic team."
Dr. Keller
completed his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA,
and earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of
Medicine in Hershey, PA. He
completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center in
Albany, NY. Dr. Keller is a member
of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American
Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He
completed two fellowships: one in sports medicine at the Institute for Bone
and Joint Disorders and the other in shoulder surgery at Maricopa Medical
Center in Phoenix, AZ.
During his
tenure, Dr. Keller provided medical coverage and support as assistant team
physician for The Phoenix Mustangs Hockey Team, Phoenix, AZ; Arizona
Rattlers Arena Football League, Glendale, AZ; Union College Division 1
Hockey Team, Schenectady, NY; and the Empire State Games, Albany and
Rochester, NY, as well as numerous high schools and other sports
organizations.
LCHS Chief
Executive Officer Gerald R. Cayer says "The addition of Dr. Keller to
our medical staff ensures we are well-positioned to build upon the growth and
success established by our local orthopedic practice."

Orthopedic Surgeons Steven J. Kaplan, M.D., Shane Woolf, M.D., and
