Lewis County General Hospital Auxiliary Awards
$14,500 in Awards to 29 county students
Twenty-nine Lewis
County students have been given awards by the Lewis County General Hospital
Auxiliary according to Pam Truax and Vickie Rounds, Co-chairs of the Lewis
County General Hospital Auxiliary Molly Pitcher Lewis Award Committee.
The Molly Pitcher
Lewis Memorial Fund was founded in 1957 in memory of Mrs. Harry Lewis. The fund provides annual awards to
applicants entering medical based careers who meet specified criteria, with
the intent of fostering their education and hope that they will return to
Lewis County to live and work, thus giving back to their local community.
The award winners
are:
Shelby Becraft, daughter of Nicholas and
Tanya Hartley, will be attending Utica University in the Nursing program.
Aylea Bennett,
daughter of Troy and Kassie Bennett, has been accepted by Jefferson
Community College, LeMoyne and SUNY Polytechnic in the Nursing program.
Eliana Bonbrest,
daughter of Marc and Mary Bonbrest, will be attending Tufts University in
the Clinical Medicine program.
Landon Brennan,
son of Christopher and Denise Brennan, will be attending LeMoyne College in
the Nursing program.
Avery Chartrand,
daughter of Anthony and Sonja Chartrand, will be attending Jefferson
Community College in the Nursing program.
Rachel Dolan, daughter of Michael and Jodi Dolan, will be enrolled in
a Radiology program.
Katelyn
Gigliotti, daughter of Thomas and Tina Gigliotti, will be attending SUNY
Polytechnic in the Optometry/Ophthalmology program.
Henry Goss, son
of Robert and Philomena Goss, will be attending St. Lawrence University in
the Biochemistry program.
Kylee Grau,
daughter of Eric and Angela Grau, will be enrolled in a Nursing program.
Rachel Guillaume, daughter of Delos and
Cristy Guillaume, has been accepted at SUNY Broome and Monroe Community
College in the Dental Hygiene program.
Mia Hanselman,
daughter of Brian and Andrea Hanselman, will be enrolled in a Nursing
program.
Paige Hawk,
daughter of Mary Dunn, will be attending MVCC in the Nursing program.
Colin Kempney,
son of Christopher and Megan Kempney, will be attending SUNY College of
Optometry, in the Doctor of Optometry program.
Chloe Kraeger,
daughter of Anthony and Carrie Kraeger, has been accepted by SUNY Cortland
and Nazareth College, in the Nursing program.
Rachel LaBrake, daughter of Chris and Judy LaBrake, will be attending
SUNY Upstate Medical University in the Medical Laboratory Science program.
Izabela Lehman,
daughter of Randy and Tina Lehman, will be attending SUNY Polytechnic, in
the Nursing program.
Meredith
Lovenduski, daughter of Chad and Jennifer Lovenduski, will be attending
LeMoyne College in the Physician Assistant program.
Emily Lyndaker,
daughter of Steve Lyndaker and Shereen Palmer, will be attending SUNY
Upstate Norton College of Medicine, in the Doctor of Medicine program.
Carson Mast, son of Edwin and Jaqueline
Mast, will be attending SUNY Alfred, in the BSN program.
Adyson McFaul, daughter of Lee and Darcy McFaul, will be attending SUNY
Polytechnic, in the Nursing program.
Hannah Roggie,
daughter of Chris and Heidi Roggie, will be attending Messiah University,
in the Nursing program.
Grace Rupert,
daughter of Heath and Krystal Rupert, will be attending Nazareth
University, in the Nursing program.
Ella St. Croix,
daughter of Jon and Jennifer St. Croix, will be attending SUNY Canton, in
the Nursing program.

son of Daryl Swiernikk and Billie Fontaine, will be attending Bowling Green
State University, in the Physician Assistant program.

University, in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
Megan Tiffany,
daughter of Shawn and Becky Tiffany, will be attending Capella University,
in the Nursing program.
Mackenna
Turturro, daughter of Chris and Michele Turturro,
will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University, in the Psychology
program.
Paetyn Vogt,
daughter of Philip Vogt and Nicole DeCecchis, will be enrolled in a Speech
Pathology program.
Carin Young,
daughter of Steven and Heather Young, will be attending Nazareth
University, in Nursing program.
