Association (ANCA)
Lowville, NY- Lewis County is partnering with the Adirondack North
Country Association (ANCA) to develop a County-Wide Climate Change
Adaptation & Resilience Plan (CCARP).
Join us for our second* workshop where
residents will identify adaptation actions for climate
vulnerabilities in Lewis County. Together, we will identify what
adaptations fit the needs of the region to include in the plan. In the end,
the plan will give Lewis County the tools to protect what matters most —
our homes, our neighborhoods, and our future — by making safety a shared
priority. This workshop builds on our first workshop, which identified
local vulnerabilities.
We greatly appreciate your attendance and
participation in these events! Be a voice for the future of Lewis County.
*Our first survey and workshop used public input to
identify areas susceptible to climate hazards. Still want to provide input
about vulnerabilities? Take survey here.
Free drinks & snacks will be provided
