Remembering Edwin
C. Campany
 Edwin C. Campany,
affectionately known as Ed, peacefully passed away at his home on Monday, June 1, 2026, at
the age of 76.
Born on June 30, 1949, in
Lowville, he was the son of the late James H. and Marcella “Sally”
(Brucker) Campany. A graduate of Lowville Academy
and Central School, he served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He married Sandra
Joan Turck in Croghan on March
26, 1977 at St. Stephen’s Church with
Rev. Xavier, officiating.
Ed worked at
Climax Manufacturing in Lowville, where he retired as a printer machine
operator.
Ed was a lover of
the outdoors. He cherished fishing, hunting, and enjoyed the peacefulness
of country living.
He is survived by
his beloved wife, Sandra, his aunt, Elaine L. Hanno; several cousins; and
his extended Turck family.
In accordance
with Ed’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
