Lewis County Republican Committee Announces Nomination
of County Treasurer Candidate

The Lewis County
Republican Committee on June 25, 2026, nominated Brian T. Hanno, as its
candidate for Lewis County Treasurer in the upcoming General Election on
November 3, 2026.
Mr. Hanno's
nomination was made by his father, Douglas Hanno, former Lewis County
Clerk, and seconded by the present Lewis County Clerk, Jake Moser, and
former Lewis County Republican Committee Chairman Randall Schell, and
unanimously approved by the Committee.
Mr. Hanno has
been the Purchasing Director for Lewis County since 2022, and resides in
Lowville with his wife, Julie, and their three children. He graduated
from Lowville Academy and Central School in 2007 and Western New
England University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree
in Business Administration with an Accounting major and a minor
in Entrepreneurship.
