NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 and 1526 of the Real Property Tax Law)

 

HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

Notice is hereby given that as of May 1, 2026 the Assessor(s) of the Town of New Bremen, County of Lewis, have completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year, and that a copy has been left at Town Clerk’s Office where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until Grievance Day.

 

The assessor(s) will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll at the

New Bremen Town Hall, 8420 State Route 812, Lowville, NY 13367 on the following days:

 

Saturday, May 2

9am – 1pm, by appt. only

Monday, May 4

9am – 1pm, by appt. only

Monday, May 11

Wednesday, May 13

4pm – 8pm, by appt. only

9am – 1pm, by appt. only

  • For appointment, please call 315-777-0164 (appts must be made 24 hours in advance)

 

You may also mail any complaint to: 8420 State Route 812, Lowville, NY 13367.

** It is highly recommended that all grievance work be submitted to the assessor prior to Grievance Day. Please include your phone number with the paperwork.

 

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on June 4, 2026 at the following times:

4 pm to 8 pm

at the New Bremen Town Hall, 8420 State Route 812, Lowville, NY 13367 in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any persons believing him/herself to be aggrieved.

 

(Application for filing a complaint and instructional booklets are available from your assessor, town clerk, or the Lewis County Real Property Tax Service Agency.)
