AI-generated content may be incorrect.LOWVILLE - Linda J. Jones (Beyer, Gascho), 78, of Valley View Apartments, passed away on Monday, May 11th, 2026 at St. Peter’s Hospital, Albany.

 

Linda was born in Lowville on March 9th, 1948 the daughter of the late John D. and Evelyn M. (Petrie) Beyer. She grew up in Lowville and attended Lowville Academy Central School.

 

Linda was employed at A.M.F. Bowling, in Lowville for eight years and retired from FiberMark North America, Inc., Lowville after 25 years. After retiring Linda went on to work part-time at Subway and Wal-Mart in Lowville.

Linda enjoyed doing embroidery, Dot painting, Euchre, meeting up with family and friends for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, going to garage sales to find a "bargain", watching her soap operas, and fishing and camping with the love of her life and partner, Dave Clute.

 

Linda greatly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Matthew J. Jones (Karen), Adams; Judy Bresett (John), Evans Mills;  Martin (Marty) Jones, Lowville; and Naomie LaChausse (Brian) Beaver Falls; her grandchildren, Matthew K. (Kristin) Jones, Tyler J. Jones , Kyle (Ashley) Bresett, Davon Brigham, Kearstin (Jonathan) Rodriguez, Joshua Brigham, Justin Brigham, Brandon Jones, Kaleb Jones and Austin Jones. Her great grandchildren, Blake Lucas, Peyton Lucas, Seth Jones, Briella Jones, Raelynn Bresett and Rowan Bresett.

 

She is survived by her siblings, Martin (Shirley) Beyer, Sandy (Robert) Bacon, Donna Riley, Jeannine (Kurt) Munger, all of Lowville, her nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Sharon Jones, Timothy and Glenn Beyer.

 

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 from 5 to 7:00pm at the Sundquist Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beaches Bridge Cemetery for family at a later date.
