Search Warrant in Constableville leads to seizure of
meth, cocaine, and firearms

On May 14, 2026,
members of the New York State Police Lowville and the Troop D Violent Gang
and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET), along with members of the Lewis
County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant
at a residence on West Street in the village of Constableville.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized
approximately 52 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of cocaine, 11 firearms,
including a privately manufactured “ghost gun” pistol, an AR style weapon,
and multiple high-capacity magazines.
As a result of the investigation, Jennifer Orona, age 43, of
Constableville, was charged with the following:
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree –Narcotic Drug
with Intent to Sell (Class B Felony)
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree –
Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell (Class B Felony)
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree – Narcotic Drug
(Class C Felony)
• Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree –
Methamphetamine (Class C Felony)
• Criminal Possession of an Assault Weapon 3rd Degree – Assault Weapon
(Class D Felony)
• Criminal Possession of an Assault Weapon 3rd Degree – High Capacity
Ammunition Feeding Device (Class D Felony)
• Criminal Possession of a Firearm (Class E Felony)
• Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree – Possession of a Ghost Gun
(Class A Misdemeanor)
Orona was arraigned at Town of New Bremen Court and released on
$100 bail.
