Lowville, NY- The Lewis County
Pride Committee is excited to announce the 7th annual Lewis County Pride
Picnic, taking place on Sunday, June 7th at 11am at the Lewis County
Fairgrounds.
This free,
family-friendly event celebrates LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, and allies
throughout Northern New York and provides an opportunity for community
members to gather in an affirming and welcoming environment during Pride
Month.
The Lewis County
Pride Picnic continues to grow each year, bringing together over 200
attendees from across the region. The event is designed to foster
connection, increase visibility of LGBTQIA+ communities in rural areas, and
connect individuals with supportive resources and organizations.
The event will
feature local vendors, community organizations, and partners offering
resources, activities, and opportunities for connection. Attendees can
enjoy food vendors or offerings, entertainment, raffles,
activities, pet pride parade, and a family-friendly space designed
to create an engaging and supportive space for individuals of all ages.
The Lewis County
Pride Picnic continues to grow each year through the support of local
businesses, organizations, and volunteers committed to fostering inclusive
environments where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel seen, supported, and
celebrated. Sponsorship opportunities help ensure continued access to
affirming programming and community events throughout the region.
