Zoey’s Farwell Message:
“When I first became the Lewis County
Dairy Princess, I knew this day would come but I didn’t realize how quickly
it would go, or how much this role would truly mean to me. This past year
has been wonderful, not just because of the memories I’ve made, but because
of the purpose behind it all. Being a Dairy Princess isn’t just about
wearing a crown it’s about sharing a story. It’s about spreading the
importance of dairy and helping people understand the hard work, care, and
dedication that goes into every single glass of milk. From community events
to meetings, I’ve had the opportunity to talk with so many people and
children to share just how important the dairy industry is not only to our
county, but to our everyday lives. And along the way, I’ve learned how much
passion is behind it all. I’ve also learned a few other things too like how
to talk to just about anyone, stay on my feet during long days, and of
course… never cry over spilled milk, even when the days got long. To the
dairy farmers of Lewis County, thank you. Thank you for everything you do,
every single day. Your early mornings, late nights, and constant dedication
are the reason this community is what it is. It has been such an honor to
represent you and help share your story. I want to give a very special thank
you to Megan Klossner for inspiring me to become the Dairy Princess. You
showed me what this role could be, and because of you, I took that step and
I’m so grateful I did. Thank you as well to Windy,
Elaine, and Gary for giving me this incredible opportunity and believing in
me. And to my biggest supporter of all my mom thank you for being there
through absolutely everything. For being my chauffeur to all the events,
for your constant support, and for always being by my side no matter what.
I truly couldn’t have done this without you guys .
To everyone who supported me this year, thank you for helping me share the
importance of dairy and for making this experience so special. It’s
bittersweet to say goodbye, because this role has become such a big part of
who I am. But I know that the message we share, the importance of dairy and
the people behind it, will continue on. To the
next Dairy Princess, embrace every moment and remember the impact you can
make. You are not just representing a title you are representing an entire
community and industry that deserves to be recognized. Don’t take anything
for granted by this amazing program. As I pass on this crown, I do so with
a full heart, a few tears, and so much pride, and before I say my final
goodbye I would like to share some advice to give you guys no matter what
obstacles life throws at you, don’t put yourself down, leap over them and
keep on going, never give up. Thank you all for making this year truly
unforgettable.”
So please, come join
us in saying farewell to Zoey as princess and crowning
a new princess and an Alternate on June 7th, 1-3 PM, at the 3-G Firehall in
Glenfield!
