Historic Lowville Village Band Invites Current, Past,
and New Musicians for Upcoming 200th Anniversary Season

Historic Lowville Village Band Celebrates 200 Years-
Invites current, past and new musicians to make history!
The Lowville
Village has history dating back to 1826 making them one of the oldest
community bands on record in the entire United States! The band will
be celebrating their 200th Anniversary with even more exciting music
and events throughout their summer concert series which begins on July 1,
2026.
The village band
would like to invite current, past members, friends, and new musicians to
join the band and be a part of history. The band’s first rehearsal
will be on Monday, May 4th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Lowville Academy
Band Room. We hope you will dust off your instrument and join
us. We ill get
those playing chops back in shape!.
