COUNTY YOUTH BUREAU ANNOUNCES 2026 COUNTY FUNDS
DISTRIBUTION
LOWVILLE, NY- The Lewis County
Youth Bureau is pleased to announce the allocation of $15,000.00 in County
funds to support positive development programs and activities throughout
Lewis County in 2026. The board reviewed a strong pool of applications
representing a wide variety of programs and geographic areas, demonstrating
the commitment of local organizations to supporting young people and their
families.
These funds
reinforce the Youth Bureaus mission to promote meaningful opportunities
for youth, enhance community engagement, and strengthen supportive services
across the county. The Bureau aims to keep the community informed about how
funds are distributed and the positive impact these programs have on Lewis
County youth.

South Lewis Central School District $2,250 Social
Emotional Kids Kamp
Lyons Falls Library $400 Adirondack
Raptor Program
Harrisville Free Library $700 Summer
Reading Program
Bridges Out of Poverty $2,490 Teen
R Rules Workshop
Lowville Free Library $580 Outdoor
Activities Equipment
The Youth Bureau
extends its appreciation to its dedicated student members, County
government leaders, non-government partners, and involved community members
who contribute their insight and expertise in the decision-making process.
Their participation ensures that funding supports meaningful and accessible
programming for youth across Lewis County.
