Lewis County Health
System Welcomes New General Surgeon
LOWVILLE, NY Lewis County
Health System is pleased to announce that General Surgeon Yuhsin Victoria Wu, M.D., FACS, has joined the medical
staff. Dr. Wu will join Jon Baker, M.D., David Vivas, M.D., and
Rachel Zehr. M.D., at the Lewis County Surgical Associates office, located
on the main hospital campus in Lowville.
"We are
thrilled to welcome Dr. Wu to the medical staff," stated Sean Harney,
LCHS Chief Medical Officer of Employed Clinics. She brings a wealth of
surgical and laparoscopic procedure experience, making her a strong
addition to our surgical team.
Dr. Wu received
her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Camden, New Jersey, and is
board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. Her postgraduate
training included the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Chief Resident in general surgery
at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Wu completed
fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Roswell Park
Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York, and University Hospitals Case
Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a member of the American College
of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the Association of Women
Surgeons.
