TO ADD PORTION OF
COUNTY ROAD 49 BYRONS CORNERS ROAD
(BY LOCAL LAW) PROPERTY
TO LEWIS COUNTY ATV/OHV TRAIL SYSTEM
NOTICE IS
HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Sections 20 and 24 of the Municipal Home Rule Law
and Section 201 of the County Law of the State of New York, and pursuant to
a Resolution of the Board of Legislators of the County of Lewis, adopted on
the 3rd day of February, 2026, the Board of Legislators of the County of
Lewis will hold a Public Hearing before the Lewis County Board of
Legislators in the Legislator’s Board Room, in the Lewis County Court
House, 7660 North State Street, Lowville, New York, on the 3rd day of March, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., to hear
all interested parties and citizens for or against the proposed Local Law
entitled, “A LOCAL LAW PERMITTING ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE OPERATION ON CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF BYRONS CORNERS ROAD (CR 49) IN THE TOWN OF WEST TURIN.”

TO LEWIS COUNTY ATV/OHV TRAIL SYSTEM
NOTICE IS
HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Sections 20 and 24 of the Municipal Home Rule Law
and Section 201 of the County Law of the State of New York, and pursuant to
a Resolution of the Board of Legislators of the County of Lewis, adopted on
the 3rd day of February, 2026, the Board of Legislators of the County of
Lewis will hold a Public Hearing before the Lewis County Board of
Legislators in the Legislator’s Board Room, in the Lewis County Court
House, 7660 North State Street, Lowville, New York, on the 3rd day of March, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., to hear
all interested parties and citizens for or against the proposed Local Law
entitled, “ A LOCAL LAW PERMITTING
ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE/OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE OPERATION ON PORTIONS OF COUNTY
ROAD 47 (FISH CREEK ROAD) (APPROXIMATELY 3.4 MILES) IN THE TOWNS OF WEST
TURIN & LEWIS, TO CONNECT THE EXISTING OHV TRAIL SYSTEM FROM THE TRAIL
ON TYRONE D. CONSTANTINO’S PARCEL TO THE TRAIL ON KEVIN EMERICH’S PARCEL”.
