AI-generated content may be incorrect.GLENFIELD- Victor E. “Vic” Lawrence, 74, of Pine Grove Road, passed away on Monday January 12, 2026 at Wynn Hospital, Utica.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Arlyce; a son and daughter-n-law, Shawn and Shannon Lawrence of Glenfield; a sister, Brenda Paro of Roswell, NM; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Debby Lawrence of Watson; nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is predeceased by a brother-in-law Clark E. Paro Jr.

 

Victor was born on December 13, 1951 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Frank B. and Helen J. Clarke Lawrence.  He graduated from South Lewis Central School in 1969 and worked on the Ray Morak Farm and at Hoffman and Dudo Cheese Factory.  Vic went to work at AMF in Lowville in 1973.  He worked in various positions for nearly 40 years until his retirement in 2012.  On June 18, 2005, he married the former Arlyce L. Ellwein at their home with Rev. Paul C. Bailey officiating.  Vic and Arlyce had been together since 1989.  He enjoyed fishing, his guitar and music, gardening, woodworking and was an animal lover.  Vic loved to visit with family and friends.  He treasured his 1988 F-150 4X4. 

 

Calling hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville.  There will be no funeral service.  A graveside service will be held in the spring at Beaches Bridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lewis County Humane Society, P.O. Box 682, Lowville, NY 13367.
