AI-generated content may be incorrect.CARTHAGE, NY- Patricia Gayle Bush, 83, of Deer River Rd., Carthage, died Sunday, January 18, 2026 in Carthage Area Hospital.

 

Born October 13, 1942 in Lowville, NY, a daughter of Clarence and Ethel V. (Merry) Kampney, she was educated in Lowville schools.

 

She married Francis M. Bush on September 2, 1961 in Lowville.

 

Patricia was a homemaker and helped with her family’s small farm operation in Deer River for many years.

 

Throughout her life, she loved puzzles, playing cards, playing softball in her younger years, and especially helping others in any way she could, and time spent with her family.

 

Surviving are her daughter, Denise (Dave) Bush, of Watertown, NY, and identical twin sons, John  Bush, of Florida, and Mark (Joanne) Bush, of Watertown; two step-sisters, Christina (Paul) Monnat, Lowville, and Sheila (Galen) Roggie, Croghan, and two step-brothers, James (Ann) Wilder, Tennessee, and Donald (Nancy) Wilder of Watson, and many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her husband, Francis, who died on October 10, 2025, she was predeceased by two sisters, Sharon Agnes Buckingham, and Joyce Virginia Ward; twin brothers, Robert James and Rodney Joseph Kampney, both who died at birth, her stepsister, Donna Jean Adams, and her stepmother, Elizabeth Kampney.

 

Per her family’s wishes, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
