Linda L. Dicob
LOWVILLE - Linda L. Dicob,
81, died peacefully on Friday morning, December 26, 2025
at her daughter’s home. Linda was formerly of
Martinsburg.
Linda was born on
September 28, 1944 in Lowville
the daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Shepard) Smith. She graduated
from Lowville
Academy and Central School. She married Ronald F. Dicob
on August 11, 1962 in Watertown. Linda worked at Finers and GRAHAM’S 5+10 in Lowville. Ron died on September 20, 2022.
She is survived
by her four children, Kimberly J. (Brad) Boshart; Deborah (Richard) Altemari; Scott R. Dicob; and Ronald T. Dicob; her two
grandsons, Richard Altemari and Anthony Altemari; her sister, Sandra
Pasquale; and her brother-in-law, Carlton “Bugger” Wakefield; her three
sisters-in-law, Lorraine Smith, Theresa Getman,
Charlotte Dicob; and her best friend, Marlene Clemons, and her Stewart
family.
She is predeceased by her two brothers, Jack and Robert Smith,
her sister, Barbara Wakefield, her brother-in-law, Richard Pasquale, and
her sister-in-law, Mary Smith.
Linda attended
The Church of the Nazarene, she taught Sunday
school at Grace Chapel and Bible Study at the hospital with Pastor’s Keith
Hardy and Nate Patnode. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and walking to and in
Whitaker Park when she lived in Martinsburg.
She also liked watching TV. Linda loved spending time with her family.
Calling hours for
family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 31st, at the
Sundquist Funeral Home from 11
to 1:00pm, followed by
her funeral service at 1:00pm
with Jim Trainham officiating. Spring burial will be in
Martinsburg Cemetery.
