of SC; a sister, Shelly Schneeberger of DeRuyter; nieces, nephews and

Donna was born on
June 13, 1944 in Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of the
late Lyle and Juanita Holland Schneeberger.
She graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1962 and attended
NYS Agricultural and Technical Institute at Morrisville and did her nurses
training at Cortland Memorial Hospital in Cortland, NY. On November 14, 1964, she married Dale
Moser at Salem Christian Fellowship, Beaver Falls. Donna worked as an LPN at Cortland
Memorial Hospital, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Utica, and at Lewis County
General Hospital, Lowville. Donna
later worked as a playground aide and then a study hall monitor
for many years at Beaver River Central School until her retirement in 2009.
Donna and the
Moser family owned and operated Moser’s Maple in Croghan, NY. Donna was the one that pioneered the
smooth candy you all have come to love.
Donna always enjoyed seeing faces from the past and present during
Maple Weekend. She enjoyed telling
stories from days gone by and hearing how some of the students she had in
school grew up to be adults. Donna
also enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting, spending time with her
grandchildren, dancing and bluegrass music. Her presence will be greatly missed.
